Execute a flawless terminal operation consistent with all Hazmat, DOT, OSHA and FRA regulations while maintaining a superior level of customer service. Accountable for the safe transfer of fuel in and out of our facilities while keeping SAFETY their # 1 goal.

  • Complies with all state, federal and local legal requirements by helping manage gasoline and diesel inventories.
  • Daily paperwork, including but not limited to rail car inspections and daily inspections.
  • Perform daily terminal inspections to assure cleanliness and operation efficiency.
  • Complies with FRA rules and regulations when it comes to off loading rail cars.
  • Perform rail car inspections and able to recognize any issues that may arise from the cars.
  • Monitors ALL off-loading procedures within their crew.
  • Document all carrier and proprietary related incidents to terminal manager.
  • Document and relay Gemini concerns and issues to terminal manager.
  • Responds to all emergency related activities at the terminal.
  • Responsible for all terminal maintenance and some repairs, which may include but are not limited to painting, cleaning, rail road track maintenance, etc.
  • Ensures loading rack is in a good working condition at all times.
  • Monitors tank farm on a daily basis for leaks and other possible security purposes.
  • Perform daily terminal inspections to assure cleanliness and operation efficiency.
  • Back up other terminals for vacation and or emergencies that may arise.
  • Provides high level of customer service by relaying any concerns from rail or carriers to terminal manager.
  • Maintaining an attitude to provide an environment that supports continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensures a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Working knowledge of DOT, Hazmat, OSHA, and FRA regulations
    • Soft Skills: Good written and oral communication skills, data entry, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self motivated, good time management skill, ability to multitask and excellent analytical skills
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 70 pounds
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
    • Must be able to climb up and down rail cars
    • Valid driver’s license
