<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">BASIC PURPOSE:  


<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Support Musket Trading and Business Development by analyzing complex data sets and creating robust data analytics. This role is designed to create and enhance tools intended to help make smart trading decisions and structure deals across different business lines including commodity trading, biofuel supply, marketing, asset operations and engineering services.  


<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Assist in evaluating opportunities across different business lines for Musket Corporation, through the usage of analytics tools/software.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Develop market trend data that supports and identifies investment and trading opportunities.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Quantitative Analysis: support data optimization and process automation projects to streamline the decision making for Musket's trading and investment portfolios.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Risk Mitigation: manage inherent risks associated with Musket's financial exposure related to supply and demand positions.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to communicate and present investment decisions, development updates and group performance to various members including upper management
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Build & sustain relationships using the appropriate interpersonal skills and communication methods to build constructive relationships with customers, business units, service organizations and other stakeholders to meet shared goals and objectives.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Contribute to the team’s success by demonstrating cooperation and collaboration while participating in a group or team environment.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Facilitate & manage change by making effective decisions which achieve the desired results in the midst of changes in responsibilities, work processes, timeframes, performance expectations, organizational culture or work environment.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously by developing a task oriented course of action for self and others to accomplish goals, utilizing appropriate resources; follows up by monitoring results and evaluating their effectiveness.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Actively supports and promotes corporate and/or business unit changes.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Research and evaluate proposed longer term or complex transactions
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Lead process automation projects to eliminate manual procedures.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Other duties assigned as needed



<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Education:

    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Finance, or related technical fields


<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience:

    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience in a trading organization preferred



<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">        SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Skills:

    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Write complex algorithms in programming languages, such as C++, Python, Java, SQL or VBA, to optimize the supply and demand positions of a business portfolio.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Visualization and interpretation of data analytics using Tableau & Python Pandas or similar tools.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Proficiency in database management system such as MS SQL server, Oracle, etc.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Demonstrate a thorough understanding of crude, refined products, renewable fuels markets and formulate strategies to maximize PnL.
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to become proficient with customer relationship management (CRM) software; Sales Force experience preferred
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Results driven focus with the goal and ability to harnesses others’ energy to drive toward goal alignment which meets or exceeds expectations.

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
