BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose is to manage the Musket Corporate trading Portfolio and its associated resources.

                                                                                                               

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule various refined products with third-party customers within the Colonial, Buckeye, Kinder Morgan, Magellan, and Explorer pipelines. Enter/change nominations, manage allocations, and maintain inventories
  • Maintain constant communications about scheduling plans with accounting, traders, mid-office, and third-party personnel. Reconcile any discrepancies with accounting and SRA. Notify traders of potential scheduling conflicts and suggest ways to mitigate.
  • Solarc: Retrieve and enter movement tickets, enter trades, schedule movements, create/schedule inter-book physical and futures inter-books.
  • Review deal entries in SRA, calculate position, position change, and change explanation. Maintain term deals, and future date info & origin starts report. Price EFP’s with brokers. Maintain a credit report for future credit risks.
  • Assist the Musket Terminal Team as requested
  • Develop Mid-Office personnel.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • High school Diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business a plus
  • Experience:
    • Experience in a risk/trading analyst role
    • Prior scheduling experience a plus

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Solarc Rightangle, Citrix/Atlas systems, scheduling training classes such as Inspectorate and Colonial, knowledge of various pipelines, grades, deal types, etc.
    • Soft Skills: Good written and oral communication skills, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self-motivated, good time management skills, and innovative thinking
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
