Inside Sales Account Manager

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to manage the region’s existing customer base, recruit profitable new diesel volume into Love’s locations, promote the Love’s Express Card, and to manage, audit, and provide customer support for all group discount accounts.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Management existing customer volumes and relationships within region with the highest level of integrity and customer service.
•Secure profitable new diesel business with both existing customers and new prospects
•Complete 50 customer/prospect calls weekly and provide report for each to SAM
•Actively promote the Love’s Express Card
•Negotiate fuel discounts, based on available volume, and maintain assigned monthly margin and volume goals
•Meet and/or exceed Year Over Year gallon and profitability goals
•Work closely with Senior Account Manager and other team members in identifying market and competition trends.
•Actively promote all Love’s services to within region: Tire Care & Roadside and Pegasus Transflo
•Contact fleets within 25 mile radius of each new Love’s location two-months prior to opening.
•Work closely with Inside Support to insure proper discount setup and timely and accurate customer support
•Responsible for complete and accurate customer data within Salesforce customer management software
•Prospect for new business and provides leads to the appropriate RAM if lead is above 25 trucks.
•Develop and maintain positive relationships with all Love’s vendors
•Actively pursue opportunities for personal development within the department and company
•Other duties assigned as needed
•Travel required as necessary

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Education:
◦High school diploma or equivalent required
◦Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•Experience:
◦3 years of inside sales and territory management.  

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•Required Skills:
◦Hard skills: Knowledge in Microsoft Office and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
◦Soft Skills- Superior communication skills, ability to build relationship with wide variety of individuals, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills, strong organization skills, team first attitude, ability to adapt to and grow from changing market conditions, strong work ethic, and self starter.
•Typical Physical Demands: ◦Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
◦Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
◦Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
◦Requires normal range of hearing and vision
