BASIC PURPOSE: The Senior Manager of Food Service Operations will provide support to field operations leadership and corporate departments to facilitate in the coordination, planning, and implementation of projects, programs, and tests that impact food service operations while ensuring their alignment with department initiatives and Love’s Strategic Priorities.

     

      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with corporate departments to deconflict projects, programs, and test rollouts to the field.
  • Serve as an operations advisor for Food Service category management and operations teams.
  • Serve as the primary Food Service point of contact for Procurement, Learning and Development, Operations Services, Workforce Management, Analytics, Communications, Risk, LP, IT Food Service Support, and Restaurant Pricing.
  • Serve as food service advisor for all field facing corporate departments during project planning and development.
  • Support category management and operations team on reviewing and updating field training.
  • Support department functions of reporting, planning, communications, presentations, and meeting planning.
  • Oversee the maintenance and updates of operations manuals, systems, and workshops.
  • Provide analytical and briefing support to executive leadership.
  • Support the department with special projects and events.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

 

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • HS diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of multi-unit leadership experience

 

      SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Hard skills: High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
    • Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, ability to build synergistic relationships, work through influence to accomplish goals, attention to detail, ability to manage a large workload, excellent organization & time management, and keen follow-up.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
    • Occasional travel as necessary
