Workforce Management Team Lead

BASIC PURPOSE: The Workforce Program Lead is responsible for all aspects of the overall development and management of Loves Travel Stops labor needs, including budgeting, program development, staffing, reporting, labor modeling, and analysis. The Workforce Program Lead will also design, create, implement, modify and monitor processes within Workforce Management software.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Operations to create and develop a Workforce Program to meet the needs of Love’s country stores and travel stops
  • Supervise Workforce Program staff members
  • Design, Implement and Manage labor model and processes
  • Develop and maintain interfaces in the Workforce software
  • Gather requirements from internal/external customers and provide solutions for Time and Attendance, Task Management, and Workforce Management
  • Develop training materials & create change management plans for a multi-site organization.
  • Ability to test and validate any changes, enhancements, or technical issues
  • Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and Operations for the development and maintenance of business solutions
  • Lead all daily activities related to the creation and approval of workload for the retail stores.
  • Track and monitor available workload capacity on a store-by-store to ensure the work can be performed within the available budget and labor capacity.
  • Develop reporting to identify staffing opportunities and aid stores in maximizing labor productivity. Provides staffing recommendations using relevant data and key performance indicators of staffing service levels.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience and/or certification
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years labor modeling experience
    • 5+ years business analysis experience
    • Experience using Reflexis or other labor modeling software
    • Retail experience preferred
    • High proficiency in modeling and manipulating data, forecasting and variance reporting.

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Strong knowledge of labor modeling and labor modeling software. Working knowledge of Reflexis a plus.
    • Soft Skills:  Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent listening and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business terms to all levels of management; highly self-motivated and directed; keen attention to detail; proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; strong customer service orientation; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
