Workforce Management Lead

BASIC PURPOSE: The Workforce Management Lead is responsible for supporting and managing Love’s Travel Stops labor needs, including reporting, communication, gatekeeping workload, program development, and analysis. The Workforce Management Lead will also design, create, implement, modify and monitor training and  processes within Workforce Management software.



  • Work with Operations to support Workforce Management to meet the needs of Love’s Country Stores and Travel Stops
  • Gatekeep tasks coming across in Task Manager and communicate with stakeholders
  • Measure workload through analysis
  • Build and maintain Walks, Forms, Checklists and Q Notes and Chat
  • Field Help Desk Tickets
  • Develop Workforce Management reporting for RTM and RWS
  • Gather requirements from internal/external customers and provide solutions for Time and Attendance, Task Management, and Workforce Management
  • Develop training materials & help create change management plans for a multi-site organization.
  • Ability to test and validate any changes, enhancements, or technical issues.
  • Write bi-weekly newsletter
  • Develop reporting to identify staffing opportunities and aid stores in maximizing labor productivity. Provides staffing recommendations using relevant data and key performance indicators of staffing service levels.
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience and/or certification
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years labor modeling experience
    • 5+ years business analysis experience
    • Experience using Reflexis or other labor modeling software
    • Retail experience preferred
    • High proficiency in modeling and manipulating data, forecasting and variance reporting.



  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Strong knowledge of labor modeling and labor modeling software. Working knowledge of Reflexis a plus.
    • Soft Skills:  Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent listening and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business terms to all levels of management; highly self-motivated and directed; keen attention to detail; proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; strong customer service orientation; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
