BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the construction clerk position is to facilitate service requests between locations, vendors, and general contractors. The warranty service coordinator will directly communicate with store locations, vendors, and general contractors on the status of warranty service requests. The maintenance coordinator will maintain information within service call database and set up local vendors for service for locations. Also, the facilities coordinator will obtain asset/equipment information as needed to make sure those items are set up for warranty service requests.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The facilities coordinator will communicate with internal and external contacts to coordinate and ensure service requests are handled.
  • The service coordinator will follow guidelines set forth for follow up and day to day tasks
  • Maintain updated information in construction service software solution
  • Maintain asset information for equipment in construction service software solution
  • Assist in discrepancies between general contractors, project managers, and facility maintenance managers for costs arising from unwarrantied items.
  • The facilities warranty coordinator will work with general contractors and suppliers to address issues on service warranties, architectural plans and equipment specs under the direction of management team members.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Experience in an administrative role or administrative assistant role within the construction industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in MS Excel
  • Familiarity with warranty claims and warranty administrator duties.

 

 

*This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday). The employee in this full time position will work onsite at Love's corpoate office in Oklahoma City.
