Training Coordinator (Field)

BASIC PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Learning Management System administrator and support tire care operations with the creation of training programs and materials. The Training Coordinator will also support other field training projects, initiatives and events, as requested.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with training team to develop training programs for Tire Care operations for the LMS application.
  • Updates training materials per instructions from Tire Care Operations.
  • Maintains the current LMS application and tests future enhancements.
  • Copy edits training material emanating from the department, when required.
  • Analyzes the effectiveness of training programs against stated learning objectives and modifies training programs to address opportunities for improvement.
  • Resolves training problems by troubleshooting LMS issues.
  • Maintains relationships with Tire Care key stakeholders.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Bachelor degree required; focus in Human Resources preferred
  • Experience: 2-3 years in a training development capacity in a corporate or non-profit setting
     
    SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Intermediate knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Ability to interpret complex concepts and processes and present them in a coherent and effective manner.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Working knowledge of LMS applications.
  • Analytical skills to develop insightful reporting for executive leadership.
  • Ability to understand technical terminology related to light mechanical and tire operations.
  • SAP LMS experience a plus.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
        • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
        • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
      • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
      • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
