Supply Chain Systems Analyst

BASIC PURPOSE: The (Retail) Supply Chain Systems Analyst, with focus on EDI, will be responsible to establish, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the electronic business to business process.  This functionality will be relying on an EDI framework, as well as facilitating the efforts in outside Eb2b systems.  We anticipate the applicant to have great customer service skills, a collaborative spirit, as you will be working with many supplier partners, and implementing large scale data interchange projects. Must be open to assist departmental target efforts with other internal systems when needed.      

 

ELECTRONIC BUSINESS TO BUSINESS

  • Assist in the development of Supply Chain EDI (or other as required interfaces) processes to support data synchronization, and effective general communication with supplier partners.
  • Lead the objective of 100% electronic communications with suppliers and vendors on EDI onboarding
  • Manage Vendor accountability across all EDI documents and processes
  • Maintain Supply Chain EDI processes to support merchandising operations, accounting, food service, and others as required.
  • Establish and maintain integrity of all EDI document guidelines, specs, and processes
  • Data integrity and accuracy within all supporting applications
  • Lead developments with IT resources to implement new logics and rulesets to benefit business

     

    RESEARCH

  • Seek the synergy and accountability of other departments, suppliers, and/or support teams
  • Ability to understand process flows, identify gaps, and implement improved process efficiency standards
  • Lead initiatives and research to improve accuracy of information prior to store impact
  • Research store level issues
  • Lead initiative in maintaining item integrity, accurate costs, and business logic across all files
  • Develop and maintain exception reporting

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • College Degree or equivalent work experience required
    • Bachelors preferred
  • Experience:
    • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of retail merchandising systems
    • Knowledge of industry trends, “best practices” and Six Sigma process improvements are a plus 
    • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
    • Knowledge and usage of retail analytics software and tableau dash boarding
    • EDI Knowledge and understanding is preferred

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
  • Travel required as needed
  • On-call availability
