Welcome to Love's: We are seeking a Supervisor of Quality Assurance to help contribute to the success continued of Love’s IT teams. You will provide leadership to a variety of IT professionals ensuring high-performing cross-functional teams that deliver on key business objectives. This role will oversee the management of the quality team for the Love’s mobile application and functions. You will work collaboratively with business and IT professionals to enhance the effectiveness of IT practices across the organization. This leader will drive continual improvement, transformation, foster accountability, and promote transparency across all levels.
Teams under this role's supervision will work on the development, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications.
Job Functions:
- Leadership & Coaching: Guide and mentor team members. Ensure they become self-organizing, high-performing teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product owners, subject matter experts, and other business stakeholders to facilitate release planning, maintain healthy backlogs, and ensure prioritization aligns with business goals.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove obstacles that hinder team progress, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted delivery.
- Transformation Leadership: Lead continual transformation efforts, championing changes that increase team efficiency, productivity, and engagement.
- Metrics & Reporting: Ensure relevant metrics are in place to provide teams and leadership with visibility into progress and areas of opportunity for improvement.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of projects, development initiatives, enhancements, and maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Release Support: Ensure teams conduct and complete release planning, deployment, and post-deployment support, including change management and documentation processes.
- Conflict Resolution: Foster an environment that encourages open dialogue and the resolution of conflicts in a constructive, collaborative manner.
- Technical Collaboration: Assist in technical discussions with a baseline understanding of technology impacts and trade-offs.
Education and Experience:
- A mix of education, certifications and work experience makes for a successful leader. The following expectations are required
- 2+ years of experience of team lead or supervisory experience with 3+ direct reports
- Bachelor/Master’s degree preferred
- Professional or Technical Designations prefered (Agile, CSM, CPO, Six Sigma, CBAP, ITIL, SAFe or similar)
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Familiarity with MS office suite of applications

- Experience managing distributed environments including on-site, hybrid, and fully remote teams is preferred
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting with occasional bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Normal range of hearing and vision.
