ServiceNow System Administrator II

*This position qualifies for a hybrid work schedule – 3 days working in the OKC office and 2 days remote*

BASIC PURPOSE: The purpose of the ServiceNow (SN) System Administrator is to serve as the lead technical administrator for the ServiceNow platform across the Love’s enterprise and retail environments.



  • Support, maintain and improve the SN platform with emphasis on ITSM, ITOM & ITAM.
  • Manage and enhance the CMDB and its relationships.
  • Integrate and maintain data sharing between SN and other sources.
  • Create, develop, and manage governance and processes for SN administration.
  • Plan, test and implement version upgrades to leverage functionality from new product releases.
  • Monitor overall health, usage and compliance for SN.
  • Identify problems, research solutions and make changes to improve functionality.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain dashboards that display intuitive, valuable metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs as they relate to SN.
  • Manage the product backlog and roadmap to ensure continued value cocreation.
  • Collaborate with others to document and implement ITIL processes based on experience and recognized best practices.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of service management efforts and recommend improvements that will increase cost effectiveness.
  • Handle afterhours maintenance and support needs for the SN platform
  • Various additional duties as needed and/or assigned.



  • Education
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred
    • ITIL Foundation and/or ServiceNow Certifications a plus
  • Experience
    • 2-4 years of experience with ServiceNow Incident, Change, Problem, Request and Knowledge Management features, including configuration and support
    • Experience with the creation, configuration and maintenance of the CMDB
    • Experience with scripting tools such as Java, HTML, APIs, XML

    • Employee should be organized, detail and process oriented, with excellent prioritization and analytical skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required - with the ability to communicate with all levels of customer IT and the business.
    • Demonstrate self-direction and attention to detail with ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with short deadlines
  •  Typical Physical Demands
    • On-call availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and tools
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
