BASIC PURPOSE:
The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer I position is responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining custom automation solutions within the Company’s RPA environment. This position will involve collaborating as part of a team on the design and implementation of automation objects to meet the requirements of multiple business units.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and support automation workflows built within Love’s’ RPA platform
- Participate in a series of initial training courses to learn basic functions of UiPath
- Create and execute test cases on automations, including unit tests and user acceptance tests
- Monitor and perform break-fix and support activities on previously built automations
- Meet daily with the RPA team to provide progress updates and assist other team members with clearing roadblocks
- Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and business subject matter experts on new feature functional designs, functional requirements, technical architecture, and implementations of new initiatives
- Identify and assist with feasibility analysis on opportunities for automation across many business units
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Business, or related field required.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of software development experience in SQL, C#, Java, Regular Expressions, Python, .Net, or SAP GUI scripting, OR 2-3 years of other relevant experience within the IT function (such as QA, business analysis, or support)
Preferred Experience:
- Designing, developing, and supporting automation workflows built within an RPA platform using UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Appian, or Microsoft Power Platform (aka Power App, Power Automate, Microsoft Flow)
- Previous experience in software support, business analysis, QA, or project management
- Previous experience working within the Agile/Scrum methodology

Typical Physical Demands:
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
