JOB LOCATION: This position is located at Love's corporate office in Oklahoma City.

 

BASIC PURPOSE: The purpose of the Monitoring Systems Administrator is to lead the design, implementation, and administration of the various monitoring tools across the Love’s enterprise and retail environments.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitoring and Tool Management
    • Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders to identify monitoring needs, manage the product backlog, and maintain a roadmap that ensures consistent value co-creation.
    • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, ScienceLogic) to provide end-to-end visibility into application and infrastructure performance.
    • Audit and manage agents, nodes, and IP addresses within the monitoring environment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Reporting and Dashboards
    • Develop dashboards and reports that summarize performance trends for enterprise applications and infrastructure.
    • Continuously enhance dashboards and reports to align with evolving business requirements.
  • Access Management
    • Administer account permissions and access controls across systems to support collaboration among teams.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis
    • Monitor the responsiveness and availability of critical enterprise applications from an end-user perspective.
    • Utilize monitoring tools to improve root cause analysis and event correlation effectiveness.
  • Process Improvement and Documentation
    • Collaborate on the implementation of IT monitoring processes, leveraging best practices and industry experience.
    • Research emerging technologies to recommend cost-effective improvements for monitoring efforts.
  • Maintenance and Support
    • Provide after-hours maintenance and support for the enterprise monitoring environment as required.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Experience
    • 3+ years deploying/maintaining enterprise monitoring solutions, including APM tools (Ex. Dynatrace, AppDynamics) and full-stack platforms (ScienceLogic)
    • 3+ years implementing cloud infrastructure monitoring (AWS, Azure) with expertise in SNMP, WMI and network architecture.
    • Proficient in ITIL/service management practices

    • Should be able to handle constant changes of priority in a fast pace working environment
  • Typical Physical Demands
    • On-call availability could include nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and tools
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
