BASIC PURPOSE: The Data Management Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring item and data integrity, overseeing the setup and maintenance of materials such as tires, parts, and in-store merchandise. This role involves close collaboration with various Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless integration and accuracy of data within our systems, enhancing the overall efficiency and reliability of Supply Chain processes. The Data Management Specialist will also play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing data quality initiatives, fostering a proactive approach to maintaining a high standard of accuracy and consistency across all aspects of master data management within the organization.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure accurate material setup in SAP to facilitate seamless Supply Chain Operations.
- Conduct ongoing material maintenance in SAP.
- Use Microsoft Excel daily for data analysis and reporting.
- Create and manage Purchasing Info Records and Source Lists to optimize procurement processes.
- Maintain various pricing and promotion conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance data governance policies, ensuring compliance and consistency in master data management.
- Identify and address data discrepancies, working towards continuous improvement and optimization of master data quality.
- Lead initiatives to automate manual data processes within SAP, improving efficiency and reducing the likelihood of human errors.
- Act as a subject matter expert on master data-related matters, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and participating in cross-departmental initiatives.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Experience:
- Experience using SAP is preferred
- Experience using MS Excel is strongly
- Skills and experiences such as Master Data Specialist, SAP Data Analyst, Data Integrity Specialist, Data Governance Analyst, Supply Chain Data Specialist, Material Data Coordinator, and Data Quality Analyst would be highly beneficial for this job, especially for those with backgrounds in SAP data management, master data management roles, material setup in SAP, and inventory data management. Experience as a supply chain data specialist, SAP master data analyst, pricing coordinator, pricebook coordinator, or Retail Merchandising Specialist would also be advantageous.
- Experience overseeing pricing structures within SAP Pricebook, managing material setups, and ensuring data integrity across supply chain operations.
- Skills:
- Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to make quick, proactive resolutions
- Ability to multi-task in a complex and fast paced environment
This full-time postition is located at Love's corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City. Hybrid work is an option after training period is complete; 4 workdays will be onsite and work from home/remote work is offered on Fridays.
This is an entry level / associate level position, and the starting base pay will be around $40,000/year.
