Inside Sales Team Lead

BASIC PURPOSE: The Inside Sales Lead will be primarily responsible for overseeing the daily coordination and production of the inside sales team and identifying factoring prospects from internal and external sources and converting those prospects into clients which contribute to the healthy growth and profitability of the company.     



  • Oversee the day-to-day production and coordination of the inside sales team within the factoring department; manage call reports, lead assignments, and execute planned marketing activities to achieve defined goals and results
  • Mine internal and external sources to identify prospective factoring client’s agents
  • Close the sale through effective presentation of financial products, pricing, benefits and bundling of products
  • Work with Credit Underwriter to structure funding solutions benefitting the prospective factoring client and Love’s.
  • Ensure the customer relationship management system is updated with activity and leads
  • Develop, Train and Manage all inside sales reps
  • Enter leads through a CRM database and assigning to Sales team.
  • Recommend and implement call strategies based on team capacity
  • Ensure team members are properly trained and supplied with the resources to effectively promote the company's products, services and brand message
  • Perform consistent, timely performance monitoring including providing feedback and coaching team members
  • Collaborate with manager to write and administer performance reviews and address disciplinary and/or performance issues as needed
  • Perform payroll administration, including the monitoring of attendance, paid time off (PTO) and employee leave



  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years in Sales and / or Sales Management role.
    • Experience with fast paced environment, CRM database experience preferred.
    • Experience with transportation, factoring and / or fuel cards preferred.



  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Working knowledge of Windows operating systems; experience with Microsoft Office
    • Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent listening and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business terms; highly self-motivated and directed; keen attention to detail; proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; strong customer service orientation; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
