POSITION OVERVIEW: The IT Project Manager (Corporate Technology) is responsible for working with the Endpoint Management, Corporate Support, and TechStop teams to initiate, scope, and manage cross-functional projects across the end-user and store computing environments for the Love’s Family of Companies.  An ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity and excited to work with business customers, Love’s IT teams, and third-party partners to deliver new services and solutions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gathering and documenting project scope, goals, deliverables, and budget estimates in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Creating and managing project timelines from start to finish using established project management methodologies
  • Conducting project team meetings and holding team members accountable for assigned tasks
  • Managing conflict as necessary within project teams to maintain shared commitment and buy-in
  • Reporting project progress using formal communication methods to keep stakeholders informed
  • Managing and communicating project risk and scope changes to create stakeholder awareness and protect the integrity of key milestones
  • Conducting project closing activities to document lessons learned and create organizational knowledge
  • Performing an evaluation of alternatives (partners, technologies, etc.) as necessary to guide appropriate decision making
  • Managing relationships with Love’s third-party partners as necessary
  • Making recommendations for project management best practices and tools for project execution and management

  • Ability to work autonomously

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a technology-related field
  • 3-5 years experience in IT project management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Experience managing infrastructure projects in a large, geographically-diverse environment is a plus

 

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to engage in repetitive motions, including movements of the hands, wrists, or fingers
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods
  • Ability to speak, including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others
  • Ability to hear, including perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
  • Ability to see and distinguish shapes with or without corrective eyewear
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound
  • May be required to lift objects less than 25 pounds, occasionally
