Information Technology Analyst (December 2019 and May 2020 College Graduates)

BASIC PURPOSE: The IT Analyst’s role includes but is not limited to assisting different information technology stakeholders to evaluate their needs, analyze the options and provide effective and resourceful business solutions. Creating and updating documentation for business information applications, researching, designing, testing system upgrades, proactive application support, and reporting issues to management are among the daily duties.


  • Must be a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills complimenting a passion for learning/sharing information from/with peers.
  • Knowledgeable of business and technical requirements extraction, analysis, communication, verification, validation, and methodology development
  • Assist in the support, maintenance and development of business critical solutions within the assigned/aligned business units
  • Research and document requirements of software users
  • Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
  • Recommend, schedule and perform software improvements and upgrades.
  • Work closely with the network, unified communications, information security, and desktop support teams to achieve the highest possible uptime of business critical applications.
  • Applies application upgrades and security patches as required.
  • Keeps abreast of industry standards and recommends solutions to meet those standards
  • Clearly identify project purpose, scope, deliverables, benefits, priority, stakeholders and success criteria
  • Perform other tasks as needed in order to deliver successful solutions
  • Ability to create systematic and consistent requirement specifications in both technical and user friendly language


  • Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree in management information systems, business, math or equivalent experience or certifications
  • Experience:
  • Related experience or education in the domains of business analysis, project management, or programmer analyst.


  • Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of databases, system architecture, infrastructure, development and business analysis
  • Analytical aptitude, business acumen, client focus, problem solving skills and technical initiative
  • Ability to of managing 200+ emails per day
  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Typical Physical Demands:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
