BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to analyze, design, and maintain reports and data for the Retail Fuel Supply department.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather reporting and data requirements from business partners
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and data sets
- Work with complex logistics and fuel pricing related data to report actionable findings to internal or external clients
- Provide accurate and timely reporting using Tableau
- Provide business partners with process improvement related to analytics
- Create and maintain documentation for reporting processes, data flows, and scripts
- Establish necessary controls and checks to ensure data and system integrity is maintained
- Provide application and technical support to end users
- Other duties assigned as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in area related to IT or analytics (CS, MIS, etc.) or equivalent experience
- Experience:
- 1+ years of experience with technical role and/or analytics preferred
- 1+ years of experience with Tableau preferred
- Tableau certifications preferred
- Python programming experience preferred
- Background in the Fuel and/or Transportation space preferred
SKILLS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Skills:
- Must have advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, data structures, database management systems, and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to follow up, multi-task and prioritize while managing a continuous stream of work, ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and adhere to deadlines
- Typical Physical Demands:
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
