Fleet Account Specialist

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to manage the region’s existing customer base, recruit profitable new sales volume into Love’s locations by promoting fuel, tires, light mechanical, factoring, CNG and other programs and to manage, audit and provide customer support for all group discount accounts. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a portfolio of Fleet accounts; grow and solidify new and current accounts
• Work as a team with the Regional Account Manager to drive the business forward in a variety of categories including but not limited to: diesel gallons, DEF, natural gas, tire care, maintenance, factoring and risk management
• Report generation and analytics
• Responsible for complete and accurate customer data within Salesforce customer management software
• Communicate with Fleet customers daily and as needed
• Other duties assigned as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or marketing preferred
• Experience:
• 2-3 years’ experience in a sales support or account management function preferred

• Self-motivated, sales driven and detail-oriented individual
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn new software applications and computer programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Teamwork and time management skills
• Must be available for occasional evening and/or weekend work
• Typical Physical Demands:
• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision
