BASIC PURPOSE:
As a Customer Loyalty Strategist, you will help architect our digital communication approach and execution for our commercial and non-commercial drivers through the My Love Rewards loyalty program. You won’t just be a spectator; you’ll be an active participant in helping to design, develop, execute and analyze strategies that drive engagement. The ideal candidate is creative and technically adept, with the ability to translate creative ideas into actionable campaigns.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as an ambassador for our loyalty customers and their overall customer experience
- Guide the development of comprehensive customer loyalty strategies to significantly enhance customer retention, lifetime value and engagement
- Utilize advanced data analytics identify trends, insights and opportunities to continuously improve Love’s loyalty programs
- Support the design and management of customer segmentation strategies to personalize loyalty program offering and communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Loyalty initiatives to manage and oversee the Love’s customer communication set-up process to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Lead in the development and execution of email, text, mobile app push notifications, printed receipt messages, and other digital customer communications while providing documentation and scheduling oversight
- Oversee creation of communication elements that align with various customer facing units
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX and graphic designers to ensure creation of highly relevant and consistent graphics in conjunction with digital campaigns
- Lead the development of sophisticated marketing strategies to support Love’s Loyalty team and other internal stakeholders in partnership with Marketing, Operations and Communications teams
- Support the growth of the Love’s customer base by assisting in the development, integration and implementation of strategic partnership programs
- Take on other strategic duties as needed to support the marketing department and the broader Love’s Family of Companies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent preferred
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, campaign planning, copywriting, customer-facing communications, and/or digital communications
- Proven track record of excellence in verbal, written and presentation skills
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Hard Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), familiarity with integrating with various technologies to support marketing efforts, in-depth knowledge of customer loyalty programs and industry trends, strong understanding of project management principles and best practices, proven ability to solve complex problems, highly motivated and pro-active self-starter
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills, strong time management and organization skills, presentation skills, sense of urgency, keen attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines, exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
