Client Management Team Lead

BASIC PURPOSE: The Client Management Team Lead is responsible for managing the operational needs of our Client Management team, analyzing back office processes and procedures, ongoing support, create and provide training materials to the Client Management Coordinators and working closely with various internal departments throughout the company to facilitate the needs or changes of the Client Management team.



  • Oversee team of Client Management Coordinators and be a go to for problem resolution, training, and process implementation
    • Analysis of Client Management Coordinators turnaround time, activities, and efficiency
    • Train new employees on company standards and department procedures
    • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort
  • Support the Client Management team in office and remotely
    • Streamlining and implementing processes to increase efficiency
    • Motivate and provide suggestions to help the team members reach certain goals and growth
  • Work closely with various internal departments
  • Research customer inquiries utilizing company resources and document customer conversations to provide corrective actions/answers
  • Resolve problems by researching and working with other departments and vendors
  • Manage customer expectations regarding functionality and deliverables
  • Participate in and support company-wide initiatives such as continuous process improvement in order to improve service, reduce costs and improve quality
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s in Business or related field preferred
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in fleet management, card services, banking or customer service 
    • Excellent customer service and active listening skills
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
    • Demonstrated experience working well in a close team environment
    • Possess a demonstrated ability to determine when to refer issues versus handle them personally 



  • Skills:
    • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
    • Ability to work with multiple departments and customers in stressful situations
    • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
    • High attention to detail, with follow through to completion of tasks
    • Strong problem-solving skills, multitasking capabilities
    • High level of professionalism and customer orientation
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
