BASIC PURPOSE: The Business Systems Analyst – Food Services supports the IT solutions, processes, and applications for Food Services as well as participates in the development of new technical solutions, by performing system analysis, application, and technical support for the Food Services Department (QSR Restaurant and Deli). This position also supports the research of issues/problems, plans, tests, and implements solutions to ensure stable operation of Love’s store technology, infrastructure, and the Food Services Department. In this role you will use proven communication and analytical problem-solving skills to interact with software engineers, systems administrators, project managers, store employees, and vendors to help identify, communicate, and resolve system issues to maximize the benefit of Love’s IT systems.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, test, and support existing functionality and applications for the POS, back office, technical store, and restaurant (QSR) hardware
- Program, test, implement, and support menu functionality and configuration changes for the POS and Back Office applications
- Build, assist, update, and deploy new applications and functionality enhancements to existing applications
- Coordinate and perform in-depth testing, including unit, functional, full regression, and user acceptance testing
- Provide orientation and training to end users for updated and new systems
- Responsible for working with store personnel to answer system related questions and troubleshoot system issues
- Document all technical processes, changes, and solutions
- Participate in the on-call rotation (normally 2 weeks a month)
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
- Research, design, test, and implement new technical solutions that improve Love’s Food Services Department
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience:
- Experience in the design and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products is preferred
- Experience with the Par Brink POS and Data Central Back Office a plus
- Experience in Food Service or Restaurant Technology is highly preferred
- Experience and technical support with retail applications (Inventory, Point of Sale, Payments, hardware and software integrations, etc.) preferred
- Working technical knowledge of MS SQL preferred
- QA/Testing experience preferred
- Experience in data analysis and reporting preferred
- Knowledge of retail systems preferred
- Knowledge of EDI business process is a plus
- Windows Server administration experience preferred
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops / Agile Methodology desired

- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
