Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce)

BASIC PURPOSE: As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Love’s continuous Salesforce innovation, transformation, and development. This position allows you to excel in being a trusted business systems advisor who is the front-line authority on everything from business requirements gathering, process documentation, testing and post-deployment support. You will work alongside experienced and passionate Salesforce Administrators, Salesforce Designers and Salesforce Developers to successfully design, develop, and deploy enterprise solutions that drive organizational growth and improve the customer experience.  The ideal candidate will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help innovate and move Love’s forward with its investment of customer engaging technologies including Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud.


•    As a member of fast-paced agile Scrum Teams - Analyze, define and document business requirements which lead to successful delivery of product releases.
•    Display a proven track record of Business Analyst activities in support of customer-engaging development initiatives while adhering to Agile principles and methodologies.
•    Translate Business requirements to Salesforce system requirements.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature functional designs, functional requirements, limitations, and implementations of new initiatives.  
•    Understand impacts of outside systems/objects on Salesforce Roadmaps 
•    Able to effectively represent goals, needs and priorities across multiple business units including Customer Service, Tire Care Dispatch and overall customer engagement.
•    Independently serve as system and subject matter expert as part of large-scale cross-stream initiatives.
•    Identify opportunities for application optimization, redesign or enhancements to support changing business needs and strategy. 
•    May serve as Scrum Master to facilitate scrum ceremonies, remove impediments to keep the team moving forward and work to create an environment of collaboration and positive team dynamics.  
•    Work closely with Product Owners to define user stories, contribute to planning and grooming sessions and remove blockers where necessary to help move the team and projects forward.
•    Analyze and document business process flows and system data flows.
•    Apply understanding of performing data imports/exports, standard API’s and other common application development concepts to technical and functional discussions.
•    Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) activities including test planning, test scripts, test execution, defect tracking and management as needed.
•    Assist in release planning and deployment activities including production smoke testing, training documentation, change management process and post-deployment support. 
•    Provide internal and external user product support, escalating issues and defects where indicated. 
•    Provide input on conversations regarding best practices for security models, operational support strategies, workflow, data validation and analytics.
•    Effectively conduct meetings spanning multiple teams on complex matters. Quickly build strong relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to earn their trust, confidence and respect.


•    Education: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MIS, Business, Technology or related field 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications are a plus but not required

•    Experience: 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years working as a Salesforce Business Analyst or comparable experience. 
  • Salesforce Service Cloud system design
  • Business process design and documentation
  • 2+ Years Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud or relevant CRM Experience
  • 2-5 years Agile methodology experience including Scrum
  • Familiarity with software development tools (Azure DevOps/VSTS, BrowserStack, etc.)


•    Skills: 

  • Quick Learner with an ability to ramp up in technologies and processes to meet business needs
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous competing demands in a high stress environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Works independently and able to make decisions quickly when necessary
  • Basic knowledge of databases, systems integration, application development and reporting.

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
