Business Analyst - IT Workforce Technology

BASIC PURPOSE: The Business Analyst will perform a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the Corporate IT Workforce Technology department. This includes providing support for our Workforce Management, Microsoft 365 and Operations Portal solutions. Moreover, this role will assist project managers and senior analysts with gathering, validating, documenting, and supporting the various systems and business customers that our team manages.  



  • Learn and apply the technologies, strategies and analytic techniques we use here at Love’s
  • Gather requirements and assist business users in building business
  • Analyze internal processes, data, and problems to come up with effective solutions
  • Assist with the migration of the existing company’s Intranet to the cloud and the on-going support
  • Work along-side other analysts to maintain and support of business-critical solutions
  • Create and maintain both end-user and team support documentation
  • Assist with solution and system testing, work with business users on acceptance testing and provide end user training
  • Dispatch and manage tickets for Microsoft 365, Redwood, and the Love’s Workforce Management system support requests
  • Assist with application support and security administration
  • Create process diagrams, use cases, user stories and test plans for a variety of software solutions
  • Assist with establishing policies and procedures for business analysis activities
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects
  • Identify issues and areas for improvement
  • Identify new business models and benefits from enabling new capabilities
  • Perform other tasks as needed to deliver successful solutions.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business or equivalent experience and/or certification
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working in Information Technology, as a Business Analyst or in customer support
  • 1+ years’ experience with other Web- and mobile-based applications and SaaS technologies
  • Agile Scrum Methodology experience a plus



  • Skills:
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer knowledge
    • Experience with O365 and SharePoint is a plus
    • Basic understanding of development processes and life cycles preferred (Waterfall and SCRUM/Agile)
    • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for automated systems
    • Ability to plan, organize, facilitate and lead a project or initiative
    • Ability to perform job duties with minimal direction and supervision
    • Experience with troubleshooting and solving problems
    • Adept at researching and making fact-based, data backed decisions
    • Good listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
    • Team-oriented with interpersonal skills and can work in a team environment
    • Customer service focused
    • Self-driven and willingness to learn new software and technologies
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping, and operation of a computer
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
