Compliance Training Specialist (Pennsylvania)

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to provide operational support for specialized equipment, work with weights and measures compliance, boiler and pressure vessel compliance, provide training for customers, inspect stations and support employee development.



  •  Keep current on applicable regulations and policies, such as but not limited to the DOT, TRRC, NIST, EPA, OSHA, ASME, NFPA, SAE regulations and all other applicable regulations for the purpose of training and development
  • Conduct W&M testing for all stations in the Northeast Region and submit documentation to manager
  • Conduct annual training and TPT for PennDOT sites and submit documentation to manager
  • Support Operation team on all Gas Chromatograph repairs and troubleshooting for stations
  • Conduct annual station inspections for Northeast Region and submit documentation to manager
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the training program for Trillium employees and customers
  • Work with Trillium personnel to establish best safety practices and then enforce them.
  • Works with equipment manufactures to determine appropriate maintenance schedules then present this to the Operations team. This includes working with OEM’s for all major station components (compressors, electrolyzes, dispensers, dryers, etc.) for the fuel suite of alternative fuel products Trillium offers.
  • Conduct field meetings with operations and construction teams to assist with field training and perform observations
  • Help ensure that all applicable reports, checklists, audits, and training materials are submitted to customers and regulatory agencies as per contractual and regulatory guidelines.
  • Travel to Trillium field locations, customer locations, or any other pre-arranged location to provide training as needed Reports

Reports to include but are not limited to station inspections, truck inspections,maintenance record audits, and other reports as required by our customers and applicable regulations
  •  Help maintain a system with the managers to ensure all PM’s are met as per manufacture and customer guidelines


• Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Training experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn new software applications as required.


• Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license, and have a clean driving record
• Ability to manage numerous competing demands in a high stress environment.
• High organizational skills.
• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, crawling, climbing, and stooping.
• Requires ladder/stair climbing to include work done at heights in excess of 15 feet, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
• Must be willing to travel and work outdoors 80+% of the time. Office setting 20%-25% of the time with frequent interruptions and a
continuous stream of work.
