Supply Chain Intern (Summer 2026)

The primary purpose of the Supply Chain Intern is to support, maintain, improve the daily processes involving merchandising operations, while gaining adequate and applicable knowledge for future use. This person will be able to assist and troubleshoot issues relating to replenishment, vendor management, Love’s supplier portal (vendor link), item integrity, and future initiatives. 

 

Job Functions:

  • Assist in support and recommend opportunities for improvement to supplier portal application with feedback from users 
  • Assist in support and maintenance of DAX/IM replenishment software 
  • Assist with aligning Vendor supply chain with Love’s operations 
  • Assist in support and implementation of Merchandising applications 
  • Manage Vendor information and contracts 
  • Seek objective of 100% collaboration with suppliers. 
  • Responsible for upgrades and regular system maintenance. 
  • Build relationships with vendor/supplier personnel 
  • Seek improvement of current system processes and flows 
  • Keep Management informed of any issues or concerns 
  • Understand current processes and apply improvement standards 
  • Troubleshoot assigned store work orders 
  • Understand basic EDI terminology and processes 

 

Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Related Major preferred and/or 5 years equivalent work experience 

 

Skills and Physical Demands:  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products 
  • Excellent Written, Oral, and Interpersonal Skills 
  • Highly Self Motivated and Directed
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
  • Very Strong Customer Service Orientation
  • Experience Working In a Team-Oriented, Collaborative Environment.
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
