
Sr. Disputes Coordinator
Welcome to Loves! Our Accounting Operations team is looking for an experienced Sr. Disputes Coordinator to serve as the initial escalation point for disputes and collections, ensuring timely resolution through case documentation, transaction research, and coordination with card partners. Monitor fraud and service platforms, drive system and procedural improvements, and support reporting through KPI development and cross-functional collaboration.
Job Functions:
- Serve as initial escalation point for disputes and collection cases.
- Monitor and manage customer service and disputes mailboxes.
- Research and document cases per company policy.
- Coordinate with fleet and credit card companies on recoveries and reversals.
- Support stores and internal teams with transaction research.
- Monitor Love’s Mobile fraud tool for suspicious activity and reporting.
- Recommend procedural improvements for dispute resolution.
- Help manage system updates for dispute tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with Salesforce scrum teams to implement and test changes.
- Ensure internal card processing issues are properly ticketed.
- Audit dispute platforms for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor collections platform for error reporting and escalation.
- Develop and track KPIs across card brands and teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience and Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
- 5-8 years of customer service, collections, or related experience.
- A/R knowledge a plus.
- A working knowledge of PCI standards is preferred.
- Must be able to pass the company’s standard PCI background investigation
Skills and Physical Demands:
- Hard Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
- Soft Skills: Excellent oral and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize and multitask; strong attention to detail; time management skills; team player.
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires a normal range of hearing and vision.
