Manager of Operations
Welcome to Love's! Our Operations Services team is looking to expand by adding an additional Operations Manager who will provide direct support to field operations leadership and corporate departments by coordinating, planning, and executing projects, programs, and tests that influence field operations. This role ensures alignment with Love’s strategic priorities.
Job Functions:
- Coordinate with corporate departments to manage project, program, and test rollouts to the field, preventing conflicts and ensuring smooth execution
- Serve as an Operations advisor for Merchandising & Supply Chain, Marketing, Food Service, Customer Experience, IT, HR, Construction & Facility Management, and Total Truck Care project planning
- Uses sound judgement to make timely and independent decisions based on data, analysis, and knowledge of operations impact
- Act as the primary Operations point of contact for Risk & Safety, Procurement, and Indirect Tax
- Provide operational guidance to all field-facing corporate departments during project planning and development.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and ensures all impacted departments are aware of upcoming projects or initiatives with larger impact
- Leverages Operations knowledge to provide strategic and tactical support on projects, initiatives and new rollouts
- Lead change management efforts by championing change and providing adequate support and resources to ensure successful change management process
- Demonstrates strong peer leadership skills through routine delegation, follow up and accountability discussions with other stakeholders and other departments
- Support the Talent Management team in reviewing and updating field training materials
- Serve as an instructor for Store Support Courses, Love’s University, and other developmental programs
- Oversee the maintenance and updates of Operations manuals and guidelines.
- Provide analytical and briefing support to executive leadership
- Assist with special projects and events as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred
- 2+ years of multi-unit leadership experience

- TechnS:ical skills: High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, ability to work in ambiguous situations, resilience, attention to detail, workload management, organization, time management, and strong follow-up

Typical Physical Demands:
- Prolonged sitting with occasional bending and stooping
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
- Normal hearing and vision range required
- Occasional travel as necessary
