HR Digital Media Intern (Summer 2026)

The primary purpose of the digital media intern is to support the creative, marketing and talent acquisition teams by capturing and producing photo and video content that enhances brand awareness, strengthens audience engagement, and maintains consistency with company standards. This position provides hands-on learning opportunities in professional media production, digital content creation, and brand storytelling.  

 

Job Functions:

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos for events, campaigns, and social media platforms.
  •  Edit and produce photo and video content for digital, print, and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Assist with pre-production planning, including storyboarding, shot lists, and equipment setup.
  •  Collaborate with Marketing, Communications and Talent Acquisition teams to create content that promotes brand presence.
  •  Organize, catalog, and maintain the media library for easy access and future use.
  •  Develop short-form, platform-optimized content (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  •  Contribute creative ideas to strengthen the company’s brand storytelling strategy.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to create content highlighting the employee experience, career opportunities, and company culture.
  •  Produce photography and video content for recruitment campaigns, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives.
  •  Assist in developing content strategies that enhance brand reputation among prospective candidates and customers.
  •  Support internal communications with visuals that reinforce company values and employee engagement

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current student in Photography, Film, Media, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Familiarity with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Experience with editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar a plus.

 

Skills & Physical Demands:

  • Strong creative eye for storytelling, composition, and branding.
  •  Knowledge of social media platforms and how visual content drives brand awareness.
  •  Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  •  Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  •  Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
  • Extended periods of sitting/standing while shooting or editing.
  • Ability to lift and transport photography/videography equipment (up to 25 lbs).
  • Frequent use of computers, cameras, and related technology.
