Welcome to Love's! Our Fuel Accounting team is looking for a Freight Payables Coordinator to reconcile freight invoices from truck carriers delivering fuel to Love's stores. This role involves collaborating with carrier contacts and logistics teams to identify and resolve any discrepancies between carrier billing and our contracted payment terms.

Job Functions:

• Enter and reconcile invoices in Fuel Smart
• Research invoices from carrier contracts and maintain internal systems
• Verify validity of invoices with Love’s inventory and logistics teams
• Verify rate amounts with logistics manager and assist in maintaining internal controls
• Communicate with various internal departments and outside contacts to obtain all necessary details needed to ensure data on fuel loads is accurate
• Other duties assigned as needed

Experience and Qualifications: 

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Some college preferred 
• 0-1 years of experience
• Accounts payable experience preferred

Skills:

• Hard skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Fuel Smart is an advantage
  • Able to navigate vendor websites efficiently to find key information
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and professionalism for direct interaction with rail carriers
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Self-motivated

Typical Physical Demands:

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
