Welcome to Love's! Our Financial Reporting team is looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to manage internal and external financial presentations, oversee monthly closing procedures, handle administrative tasks across all reporting systems, and account for affiliated companies. The Staff Accountant will also be responsible for gathering and analyzing work papers and supporting special projects as assigned.

Job Functions:

• Working knowledge of SAP and other company software and platforms
• Create journal entries for monthly close, regular account review, and recurring entries
• Perform basic month end close duties to ensure accurate and timely close
• Working knowledge of all company entities and their purpose with ability to make informed decisions
• Create, update, and distribute monthly and quarterly reporting timely and accurately
• Assist with bi-annual budgeting processes for operations and corporate budgets
• Interact with other departments and operations
• Other duties assigned as needed

Experience and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 1-3 years relevant work experience

Skills:

• Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel
• Soft Skills: Strong oral and verbal communication skills; ability to perform and make decisions under pressure and strict deadlines; excellent time management skills; detail oriented; ability to multitask and be a team player

Typical Physical Demands:

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
