Recognition & Engagement Coordinator I

Welcome to Love's! Our Culture and Events department is seeking an Employee Recognition & Engagement Coordinator to deliver operational, administrative, and program support for employee recognition, engagement, culture, and Employee Resource Group (ERG) initiatives. This position coordinates the day-to-day administration of the Heart of Love's recognition program, supports OneERG governance and activities, assists with employee engagement programs, and helps ensure successful execution of Culture & Engagement initiatives across the organization.

This position serves as a key coordinator among internal stakeholders, vendors, employee resource groups, and cross-functional partners to support a culture where team members feel valued, connected, and engaged.

 

Job Functions:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Heart of Love's recognition program.
  • Coordinate recognition card inventory, ordering, fulfillment, and distribution activities.
  • Maintain recognition program files, documentation, trackers, and supporting materials.
  • Monitor recognition activity and assist with reporting and program analysis.
  • Coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and system partners to resolve program issues and support enhancements.
  • Assist in maintaining recognition program communications, resources, and training materials.
  • Support program audits and quality assurance efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities.
  • Assist with planning and execution of employee programs and campaigns.
  • Support engagement activities by coordinating timelines, materials, communications, and logistics.
  • Track participation, feedback, and metrics to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of engagement calendars and project plans.
  • Provide administrative support for OneERG and affiliated Employee Resource Groups.
  • Maintain ERG charters, leadership rosters, meeting records, and governance documentation.
  • Coordinate communications, meetings, and project timelines for ERG initiatives.
  • Track participation, membership, activities, and program-related information.
  • Support annual planning activities, leadership transitions, recognition efforts, and event coordination for ERGs.
  • Manage incoming inquiries received through Culture & Engagement team mailboxes and communication channels.
  • Draft and distribute communications related to recognition, employee engagement, and ERG initiatives.
  • Coordinate project deliverables and follow-up activities among cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Maintain communication schedules, content calendars, and program updates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, leaders, and business partners.
  • Maintain department spreadsheets, databases, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Compile and distribute recurring reports for leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for employee recognition and engagement programs.
  • Assist with program measurement, data validation, and analysis.
  • Ensure department records and data are accurate, organized, and current.
  • Coordinate logistics for employee engagement programs, recognition activities, and culture events.
  • Manage registrations, attendance tracking, supplies, awards, and materials as needed.
  • Assist with meeting planning, room reservations, catering requests, and event support.
  • Provide on-site support for employee programs and special events.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal partners to ensure successful program execution.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain department calendars.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, action items, and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems and project documentation.
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying opportunities to improve processes, employee experiences, and program effectiveness.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Event Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting employee programs, engagement initiatives, human resources, communications, event coordination, recognition programs, or related functions preferred.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously preferred.
  • Experience working with reporting tools, data tracking, spreadsheets, and business systems preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, standing, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires a normal range of hearing and vision.
