Welcome to Love's! Our Retail Accounting Department is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk II to assist in processing invoices into the payables system by scanning documents, opening mail, and managing the appropriate invoice routing channels. Review vendor invoices, comprehend the invoicing components and their relationship to corresponding purchase orders, and ensure accurate data entry into the payables system.

  Job Functions:

• Scanning documents into the payables system. 

• Moving PDF’s in their correct invoice upload folders.  

• Understanding the basic invoice workflows for each invoice type to ensure accuracy and invoices are properly sent to the correct processing channels for approval.    

• Troubleshoot inquires and issues with direct supervisor, vendors, and internal customers.  

• Ability to follow and successfully complete a listing of set daily duties in addition to troubleshooting documents that come back with questions or issues. 

• Process different types of documents that we receive from vendors. 

• Ability to process documents independently and understand internal customer and vendor questions. 

• All other duties assigned as needed. 

Experience and Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred. 
• Experience in payables document processing. 
• 1-3 years of related experience. 

Skills:

• Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel; Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus. 
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; Good communication and customer service skills.  

Typical Physical Demands:  

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
