Welcome to Love's: Our IT Marketing and Merch Technology team is seeking an Automation Engineer II to be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation and will collaborate closely with the team to identify and resolve test automation issues, ensuring that requirements of multiple business units are met. This role also involves leveraging AI-powered tools and frameworks to enhance test coverage, accelerate defect detection, and optimize testing workflows.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
- Collaborate with various teams to identify and resolve test automation issues.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the findings.
- Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test automation best practices.
- Ensure that test automation scripts are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
- Develop and maintain documentation for test automation processes and frameworks.
- Apply machine learning models or AI-based anomaly detaction to identify patterns in test failures and improve root cause analysis.
- Supports broader team and enterprise goals by proactively contributing to initiatives outside of core responsibilities.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 2 years of related experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role
HARD SKILLS:
- Experience with automation tools, such as UiPath or similar
- Experience with test management tools, such as Azure DevOps or similar
- Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology
- Certification in UI Path Test Manager, Tricentis Tosca, Appium, Selenium
- Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles
- Proficiency with scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python, Java or similar.
Soft Skills:
- Ability and willingness to learn new tools and techniques
- Ability to work independently on complex development objects
- Ability to manage numerous competing demands in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications:
- Preferred certifications: UI Path Test Manager, Tricentis Tosca, Appium, or Selenium

- Prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
- Eye strain (screen use)
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision
- Additional hours may be necessary.
