Sr Business Systems Analyst

BASIC PURPOSE: The Sr Business Systems Analyst role is to actively contribute to and facilitate solutions with regards to Love’s Salesforce products (Service Cloud, Sales, Incident tracking, Communities, etc.). This includes interacting with business unit stakeholders, product owners, developers, application administrators, project managers and vendors to ensure goals and objectives are being met. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help innovate and move Love’s forward with its investment of Salesforce technologies.



  • Display a proven track record of Business Analyst activities in support of customer-engaging development initiatives while adhering to Agile principles and methodologies to cultivate collaborative atmosphere.
  • Work with the Product Owner(s) where necessary to help define, document and deliver required deliverables to support projects.
  • Quickly understand business needs and technical requirements and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation of better solutions.
  • Engage in building strong relationships with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and team members to earn their trust, confidence and respect.
  • Be part of a fast-paced agile scrum team and participate in planning, documentation, execution, testing, and launch of projects.
  • Lead and Quality Assurance (QA) activities including test planning, test scripts, test execution, defect tracking and management. Includes new application functionality and regression test efforts.
  • Assist in release planning and deployment activities including regression testing, training documentation, change management and post-deployment support.
  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in a high stress environment.
  • Advise business and IT resources on best practices for Salesforce solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of process standards and evaluation of tools as needed.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision. Quick to build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.




  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MIS, Business, Technology or related field
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications are a plus but not required



  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Business Analyst or comparable experience.
  • Business process design and documentation
  • Extensive Quality Assurance experience including test planning, test execution and defect management.
  • Agile methodology experience including Scrum
  • Familiarity with software development tools (VSTS, JIRA, etc.)
  • Strong Analytical and Data Analysis Skills
  • Experience designing and implementing Salesforce products are a plus but not required




  • Quick Learner with an ability to ramp up in technologies and modules to meet business needs
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous competing demands in a high stress environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Works independently and able to make decisions quickly when necessary
  • Basic knowledge of databases, systems integration, application development and reporting.


Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
