Director of Love's Financial Services

       BASIC PURPOSE: Executive Leader for the Love’s Financial Services business; a rapid growing business providing freight factoring and working capital solutions to the transportation industry. Responsible for overall company governance and directing all company functions and activities including sales, business development, operations and credit underwriting, Formulates the vision and strategic direction for company growth and profitability through market/industry assessments, new revenue and product development, M&A and partnership opportunities, while fully leveraging Love’s Brand and unique competitive market advantages.



  • Oversees a large, diverse, multi-lingual team with operations in Oklahoma City, Memphis and field sales geographically dispersed throughout the country.
  • Provides clear direction to the organization, maintains optimal staffing levels and ongoing team development.
  • Develops and executes strategic business plans that achieve goals and are aligned with Love’s Corporate Strategies, culture and values.  
  • Manage the review of factoring processes, documentation and system technology to ensure they are effective, maintained and updated in accordance with business needs and provide adequate risk controls.
  • Performance of the business P&L; achieving desired returns and contributions to Love’s Family of Companies.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external business groups, leaders and support providers to devise and implement progressive business initiatives.
  • Develop effective business and professional networks, serving as the ambassador of the company both internally and externally.  
  • Provide business progress reports and updates to Love’s executive leadership and Capital Partners group.
  • Lead M&A process – identification of right candidates, evaluation, due diligence and integration.
  • Other duties as required.



  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree required; generally, Finance or Business Concentration, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years relevant leadership experience in a financial related field.
    • Demonstrated success as organizational leader.



  • Skills:
    • Proficient in technology to determine operating needs and platform design.
    • Understanding of financial markets and transactions.  
    • Knowledge in evaluating financial transactions and risk.
    • Experienced at building and leading high performing teams.
    • Skilled at negotiations, problem solving and managing conflict.  
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
